Some basic color work using the Mario design from earlier, also used it to practice Photoshop tools to place it on a stock image of a shirt to give it more realistic depth. I
'm not using this for commercial use by the way since its copyrighted material, i'm just simply practicing.

Maya 3D modeling

In my quest to get a game design internship at Microsoft soon, I have begun to teach myself the basics of the 3D modeling program Maya. The pictures below were created with basic shapes and effects, and it consists of a room with a window with a large moon outside, and a holographic projector showing some planets, as well as textures on the walls and floor and some architectural interest with slanted pillars.

Mustachioed Mario

Practice line work to get back into the mood of using illustrator. Seeing those mustache sunglasses everywhere lately got me thinking about using them in a design somewhere, so I thought, "why not Mario?" Hopefully I'll have color and textures on it soon.
